Back To Business: The NHL Returns

Well, the All-Star festivities have come and gone and overall it came off as a success.  T.V. ratings were up 33%, and overall the experience was enjoyable for all.  With that being said,  its back to business.  There are a ton of teams in action tonight (26 total) and there is plenty of news to report on.



-Yesterday, the Tampa Bay Lightning unveiled new uniforms that they will be wearing for the 2011-12 season.  Overall, they look nice.  It's a fairly simple design but it just looks good. Personally I'm a fan but it all comes down to preference.  Judging by their faces it hard to tell what the Lightning think...




-The NHL announced that tonights game between the Colorado Avalanche and the St. Louis Blues has been postponed due to weather.  The game has no makeup date as of now. The game was set to take place at 8 pm in the Scottrade Center.


-At 1 pm today, Tom Golisano agreed to sell the Buffalo Sabres to Terry Pegula.  The deal will take several weeks to go through.


-The NHL trade deadline is right around the corner (February 28th at 3PM).  Expect hear about all sorts of trade rumors and expect to see a detailed breakdown of the trade deadline from us.

    I love hockey, I remember the first time I went to a game, I was in awe at the brutality on the ice, it's amazing :D
